'CHOICE IS EXPENSIVE'

First things First
Maybe this will seem like a bit like brown nosing
( not intended but it wont hurt right!)

my elective lecture-rer Mr Kearney who has been leading my digital environments electives at camberwell;
 is a really good lecture-rer ..

having not really understood the nature of the lectures
(due to my tardiness last year and a lack of research)
I turned up not sure what to expect.

I know I was not the only one in our class to have
found ourselves thrust in to Mr Kearney class
like lambs to the digital slaughter.

None of it

The lectures were engaging, interesting and above all totally relevant. How could I possibly not connect with the subject. We; I and you reading this post are all subject ( and I think mostly infantile in our knowledge and understanding) to the influences of technology on our psyche and society. Kearney eloquently explained in a language that I am familiar with,(using video and and interacting with us online the impact being online will  make in the development of the world.

Thats BIG ideas

Never mind how the internet will affect art .
How will it affect our futures (our babies!!)

I found the digital electives informative to the point of life changing.

Having found out that the electives will be stopped after this years done leaves me feeling like fuck

how can they do that, I would never have been exposed otherwise. What about everyone else?

So here is my assessed video
for all my learned knowledge from
Digital Environments I cannot stop
 my poor laptop from dying

The product of my inadequacies

literally, computer broke down, I didnt know how to upload ..

just baad times ha ha

and the video I made for digital environments
(which admittedly is a bit poo)
not as good as the one above

 I HAVE A PLAN

(not so much of a world changing plan as Mr I Have A Dream)
but
It should be good - soo keep watching

Heres a little photo of something I started last month and has just  dried

I LIKE PINK! :D

so anyway gonna do some engraving on the smooth side (cos its not so smooth, its acctually really scratched and not very nice. we're just gonna hide that)

Im not sure If what I'ma carve out will
- detract from the lovely colours and textures
-If what I intend to carve will look like, should I follow some of the line work on the painting?

Things to think about ..... ta ta ta
